Chenab Railway bridge have the height of 359metre 30metre taller than iconic EIFFEL TOWER

THIS bridge is the great engineering marval of Indian railways. AROUND 1,400 PLUS 500 local labours are working with this bridge.

Chenab rail bridge is a 1kilometre long bridge and this bridge work is excuted by konkan railways in the supervision of Nothern Railway zone..

The target for Completion of this bridge is set for 2021 year.. ONE of the major bridge in KATRA TO BANIHAL SECTION. 

KATRA TO BANIHAL TO SECTION IS ALSO TARGETED FOR COMPLETION NEXT YEAR. 

THIS BRIDGE IS ALSO AN STEEL ARCH AND CONCRETE MIX BRIDGE.. THE BRIDGE WORK WAS STARTED FROM 2002.

The Chenab Bridge was originally intended to be completed in December2009.However, in September 2008 the project was halted due to fears over the bridge's stability and safety. IN NOVEMBER 2017, the base work of bridge was declared to be completed.. 

The bridge have missed several deadlines till now.
